Size
When
figuring out the end size of your product, keep in
mind the standard size of paper (A4 - 297mm x 210mm
A3 - 420mm x 297mm). Other sizes can be
printed on, however, the larger the size, the more
expensive.
If
your item is small, think about how many can fit
onto either the A4 or A3 sheet. This will help
reduce costs by minimising the quantity of sheets
printed on.
Quantity
When
printing on commercial offset machines, there is an
initial set-up fee incorporated into the cost of
printing. This includes setting the ink
balance, shooting and developing the printing plate,
and clean down of inks. Therefore if you order
a small quantity and re-order again in a few months,
you will be paying the set-up fee twice. If
you order double the amount initially, you get more
prints for less.

Keep
an open mind
There
are many different avenues you can go down in
the printing world. Be flexible and ask
questions. Many times there is something
similar to what your wanting, for less cost.
Global Graphics Design and Print is dedicated
to providing outstanding quality products at
affordable prices, that exceed our clients
expectations.
